Billing questions
There are no plans and no monthly minimum. You add a card once, when you verify your first client's business, and your prepaid balance tops itself up from it to cover that first month, and again when it runs low, from $20 at a time. You can turn that off and add funds yourself. Each top-up comes with a receipt.
Creating your agency, adding clients, inviting their team to the app and chatting with them. Money comes in at one moment you choose: verifying a client's business, which turns on calling and texting.
Each business you verify is $8.40 a month, charged from your balance when you verify it and every month while it's open. Each number is $5 a month, charged when you add it and every month while you keep it. Close a subaccount or release a number to stop its fee.
Carriers bill texts in segments. A plain text up to 160 characters is one segment; longer texts, or texts with emoji or accented characters, use more. The app tells you before sending when a text will be more than one.
Your agency does, from its balance. You decide what to charge your clients. Usage by client for each month, with a CSV download, makes rebilling simple.
US numbers need the carriers to approve the business before they can text. Activating a phone sends it, and the registration fees are included. Carriers usually decide in 1 to 2 weeks, and calls work meanwhile. Canadian numbers text Canadian phones right away. The surcharges carriers add to each text pass through at cost plus 5%.
Sales tax, GST or HST is added where it applies, based on your billing address.
